What a good book. Very informative. It really answers those important questions about eating more starch like Where will I get my protein or Where will I get my calcium or Vitamin D I tried one of the recipes for chocolate pudding and it was very good Read full review

A great book about nutrition and health. This book deviates from mainstream diet industry where building your meals around starch is the solution for better health. A good point in this book is the fact that people in the past ate no meat and ate starch mainly because they could not afford meat. They never had health issues that appears in the present like high orchestral problems or obesity. The book tells us to learn from the people in the past and eat traditional meals like them. To put it simply, eat lots of starch and avoid anything that comes from animals.

He serves as associate professor at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, CA, and teaches medical students at his clinic in Santa Rosa.
