The U.S.-Russian Entente That Saved The Union

Executive Intelligence Review, Sep 3, 2015 - History - 50 pages

Americans all know that without the aid of the French Navy, the American Revolution might have failed. But did you know that without the Russian Navy, the Union might have been dismembered during the American Civil War? Did you know that the Russian Navy was sent by Czar Alexander II to New York and San Francisco with orders that the squadrons would be put under the command of Abraham Lincoln were the British and French to recognize the Confederacy and move to intervene against the Union! This is the complete, thoroughly documented, 1978 study by Konstantin George which demonstrates that the American Civil War was not a local dispute but part of a worldwide confrontation between the British Empire and two leading nations which, despite differences in internal constitutional characteristics, sought a better future based upon scientific and industrial development.

This is must reading for every literate person.

About the author (2015)

Note from ebook editor:   Americans tend to believe that our history is primarily local. In reality, the American Civil War was part of a global confrontation between the British Empire and forces pushing the “American System” model of scientific-industrial development for their own nations.  This is thoroughly proven in this article. However, Konstantin George's hypothesis, that actions of Secretary of State Seward and Secretary of War Stanton were motivated by their secret allegiance to the British Empire, has since been disproven.  With that caveat, what you are about to read is a treasure of American and world history.
