Rich, satisfying dishes with much of the textures and rich flavors we are used to in non-vegan dishes. Dynise takes a straight forward, common sense approach with many practical tips and techniques. A book well worth knowing!

About the author (2009)

Dynise Balcavage has been cooking since age seven. The author of eleven books for young readers, she has published recipes in Herbivore and Végétariens (France's first vegetarian magazine) and is a contributor to VegNews. She's been featured in the New York Times and International Herald Tribune.
