As child in the sixties, each week our Mother took us to the library. As much as possible I chose the Blue-Eyed Lady and I was always disappointed when it had been checked out. I loved the book so much that 25 years later, at a library book sale, my Mother found it and bought it for me. I still have it. It is a wonderful story and will captivate any child - especially when it is read to them by someone they love.
