The contract labour system effected alot of families, the whites did not allow the workers to take the families along and some of the men went to work for years. Some where already merried and had children and they had to leave the women with the kids for al those years. They went to work and they worked hard but they where not happy with the money they got at the end of the day. Some women took other men and got merried again because they couldent stay without a men to take care of them. When this men arrived from the contract they find the wife and kids with another men and the kinds dnt know him as theyr fathr. The peple realy suffered allot and its really painfull to see that ur wife and kids are having another family after al ur suffer and hard work.
