The Fashionable Lady in the 19th Century shows the extreme change in fashion from the Regency period to the Victorian period through a series of pictures. It shows the different changes ladies would undertake during the day and the many different outfits. It also shows the difference between English and French fashion. At the beginning of the book there is a bit on the period of clothing and I can faithfully say that it is a brilliant reference book!
