I liked the under-appreciated protagonist finding a way to get the respect he deserves, and this book delivers on that. The illustrations are okay, though I am a bigger fan of a more realistic illustrations. I liked everything though. Read full review

About the author (1995)

John Prater is an artist who lives and teaches in Portsmouth, England. He taught school for many years before turning his full-time attention to writing and illustrating books for children. He first got the idea for his series of Baby Bear books when he became a grandfather. In addition to writing and illustrating children's books, he gives frequent art demonstrations to school children throughout England.
