About the author (2004)

Richard Scholl is a consultant, award-winning creative director, and author who has written about collectibles and the industry for decades. A former managing editor of The Matchbox Collector , he is the author of Matchbox: The Official 50th Anniversary Edition , a comprehensive pictorial history book that won rave reviews internationally. He resides in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
