About the author (2009)

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Tom Taylor is geologist currently living in northern Colorado. Through his course of work he has traveled extensively, physically exploring some of the least populated and most desolate areas that the greater western United States has to offer. When not in the field, his work gives him the means to transport him deep into the past through eons of geologic time by mapping prehistoric environments.
