Dr. Janine Lee is an award-winning Global Learning and Development (L&D) and Diversity Equity Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Leader. She has almost 20 years of experience in L&D, DEIB, organizational development, and change management at Fortune 500 companies. As a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Janine has led large-scale, 100-person teams in continuous improvement and transformation efforts.

As a UC Berkeley Haas MBA 2014 Graduate and Certified Executive Coach, Janine has been lecturing as an Adjunct Professor for 10+ years at top universities including the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, Santa Clara University, and the UC Berkeley Center of Executive Education with over 200+ students in 35+ countries. She has taught DEIB, leadership, communications, digital transformation, and international business in South Africa. Moreover, Janine is a USC Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) graduate with an emphasis in Organizational Change and Leadership. She published her dissertation on workplace belonging for women of color in technology.

Janine has won dozens of local, national, and internationally acclaimed awards for her leadership such as the Maybelline New York Empowerment through Education Award, PG&E Diversity Champion Award, Bank of America Local Hero Award, L’Oréal Paris: Women of Worth Finalist, and Jefferson Awards for Public Service. She has also been featured in media such as People Magazine, KTVU News, Oakland Tribune, and the SF Chronicle. Janine is also a best-selling author of the book Unstoppable: Rise of Female Global Leaders, where she shares her personal life story of resilience, strength, and inspiration to overcome obstacles in both her personal and professional career.

Born and raised in Oakland, California, Janine is a near-death survivor, keynote speaker, 100+ country world traveler, content creator, and martial arts black belt. Her life vision is to “create a world where everyone belongs,” and her mission is to “inspire leaders to reach their full potential.
