About the author (2008)

Lynn Brunelle is a former classroom teacher, a best-selling children's book author, and an Emmy Award-winning writer. Her educational projects range from the board games Cranium and Brain Quest to the TV shows Bill Nye the Science Guy and Pop Bottle Science. She is a regular contributor to NPR's Science Friday Kids' Connection and has written for PBS, the Discovery Channel, National Geographic World, and FamilyFun magazine. She lives near Seattle with her husband and two sons.
