Carrie Casey, a racist teen girl from the 21st Century finds herself back in time some thirty-four years earlier during the 1960s Civil Rights Movement. She lives in the same town and attends the same school, but something is terribly different. Her heart is the same, her views remain unchanged, but her hair, skin and eyes have drastically changed. What was once white with green eyes and blonde hair is now black with dark eyes and unruly hair. Carrie Casey is now Carrie Johnson who will have to learn how to survive in a time of sit-ins and riots. A time when racial unrest is around every turn. Will love be strong enough to break down the walls of hate that lay in the heart of Carrie Casey?
