About the author (2008)

William Gay is the author of the novel The Long Home. His short stories have appeared in Harper's, The Atlantic Monthly, GQ, and New Stories from the South 1999 and 2000. The winner of the 1999 William Peden Award, he lives in Hohenwald, Tennessee.
