Waverley Writers Anniversary Book: Celebrating 25 Years of Community and Poetry, 1981-2005 Sharon Olson, Palmer Pinney A collection of reminiscences by more than sixty Palo Alto area poets who have participated in readings and workshops arranged by the Waverley Writers, a twenty-five-year-old Palo Alto literary organization. The volume also includes photos, poems, maps of Palo Alto literary events, the historical perspectives of some of the founders, and biographical portraits of important Waverley Writers of the past such as Margaret Mullen, Jim Standish, Abby Niebauer, and former Foothill College poetry teachers Richard Maxwell and Frances Mayes.
