Thinking of mining, one may first picture a lot of dirt, sweaty men, and a destruction of the earth. In contrast to this, Rio Tinto’s website is mainly held in white and blue with the brand logo being red. All these colors have a rather light and clean feel to it, leaving the impression that the company is environmental-friendly and concerned about its products and the resources it basically robs the earth off.
