About the author (2005)

RICHARD LEWIS has written and edited several books for children, including All of You Was Singing, an ALA Notable Children's Book, illustrated by Ed Young, and In a Spring Garden, illustrated by Ezra Jack Keats. He is the founder and director of The Touchstone Center, an organization that supports the creative, imaginative, and artistic lives of children. He lives in New York City.
