Author Ronald M. Herhuth reaches out to homeowners, renters, apartment dwellers, condominium owners, seniors living alone and small business owners. He shares with them the decision making and purchasing process of a security system - whether a security system is right for them, what to watch out for, even methods of securing a premises if a complete security system is not what is desired. Find out how to bolster a security system with additional protection aside from the system itself.

You will, for example, find informative sections on carbon monoxide, living in a fire zone, fire extinguishers, fire safety, and designing an escape plan with the family. The author also covers miscellaneous home and personal safety topics, including an in depth look at the rapidly growing crime of Identity Theft - considered to be one of the most violating crimes in history.
