What a Waste Love Affairs

Front Cover
AuthorHouse, 2002 - Poetry - 128 pages

The fils rouge of WHAT A WASTE LOVE AFFAIRS is that modern civilization is in a state of chaos because its spiritual leadership has lost effective knowledge of man's true nature and destiny.

Neither philosophy nor religion does much to give the man the consciousness, the serenity and the spiritual power necessary for a stable and creative personality and in turn for a stable and creative society.

inkovec's poems are like sparks of lapidary thoughts and clashing sounds of words that at first do not seem to connect. However, the verbal disfunctionality is soon overcome and the poems transport the reader into a time-space where the lines reverberate against the stalactites and stalagmites of chaos and in turn become an orchestral work.

While everything around the man crumbles and he tries to hold on to the shards of reality, the poems, in spite of the title of the book, provide a foothold and hope that everything has not been in vain.
