After graduating from Texas A&M University, Julie Brawner had no idea what her life had in store for her. But after marrying Dave and entering the coaching world, Julie joined the ministry of her husbandshowing young men and women the hope of Christ through sports and in the classroom.

Every Tuesday and Friday night during basketball season, you would see Julie and young daughter, Adia, cheering on Coach Daddy Brawner from the stands in a Texas high school gym.

Julie Brawner is a middle school math teacher, the wife of a high school basketball coach, and the mother of two little girls—one of whom lives in heaven. God chose to radically impact their family through the loss of their daughter, Piper Kay. Brawner is author of The Coach’s Wife Study Guide and has had articles published in various magazines.
