Diane Frazier is a talented vocalist whose desire for stardom is bittersweet because her parents are adamantly against it. Fed up with pleasing them, Diane heads west to Los Angeles to enter a talent show known for creating mega stars.

Diane comes in second place in the talent show but swallows the loss. In the meantime, she befriends an aspiring actress named Carla who introduces her to a record label. However, the C.E.O. is very suspect. Diane signs a contract but learns that her career won’t take off unless she compromises her moral integrity. Ambitious Diane endures living a double life hoping no one will find out “the secret to her success”.

James Anderson is a modern day Joseph with a twist. Born again and Spirit-filled he is used by God to revive Carvey Distribution Trucking, Inc. through a dream and supernatural wisdom. Soon James falls prey to one of Satan’s most useful tools- pride, which affects his judgment and relationship with God.

James and Diane meet, fall in love, and create a child out of wedlock which adds to the drama that Diane is already facing. Getting God involved is the only solution to the list of mistakes Diane and James make.
