The first of three volumes planned for publication, Where I Stand is a collection of essays and articles written by Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, a consultant, entrepreneur and politician in the Republic of Ghana. Dr. Nduom, known as "Mr. Fix-it" for his ability to succeed in Government where others have failed, has spent several years serving his country as a Minister of Parliament and Minister of State. In Where I Stand: Volume I, he shares his hopes and vision for Ghana, addressing key local issues such as health care, accountability in Government, and developing the talents of the country's youth. This collection is a testament to Dr. Nduom's long standing commitment to Public Service and strong family values. In each of these compelling articles and passionate speeches, he reinforces his belief that a well-run government can create better future for its people.

The tragedy in Ghana today is a lack of leadership. Means tested visionary leadership. One of the few people in this country who make sense today. As I refer to tragedy a good question to ask is why Nduom isn't president in Ghana today. He epitomises visionary leadership which is what Ghana needs today. Sadly this is not the reality, hopefully if Dr Nduom does not become President one day someone will learn from his sharing of ideas to move this country from mediocrity to a country where people demonstrate drive and initiative.
