About the author (1997)

Colin MacCabe is Professor of English at the University of Pittsburgh and Chair of English at the University of Exeter. Mark Francis is the Curator of the Andy Warhol Museum, Pittsbugh. Peter Wollen teaches Film at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Mark Francis is Professor and former Chair of Landscape Architecture at the University of California, Davis, and coeditor of "The Meaning of Gardens" (1990). Andreas Reimann teaches landscape architecture and conducts open space research at the University of Dresden. Yan Nascimbene is a prize-winning illustrator whose work has appeared in "Time", "Newsweek", "The Wall Street Journal", "Scientific American

Peter Wollen was Chair of the Department of Film, Television and New Media at the University of California, Los Angeles. His other books include Paris/Hollywood: Writings on Film and Paris/Manhattan: Writings on Art.
