Goodrun Smith, the half-witch, finds herself in a spot when her wicked half-sister, Evilyn Badmanners' magic goes disastrously wrong. Evilyn accidentally causes an eclipse by zapping a bathtub to the skies. Under the cover of darkness, the witches come out and do mischief to the townsfolk. About the Author Val Thame lives in Hampshire, England. She is a full-time writer and her stories for the young have been broadcast on British television and independent radio.
