From my POV, this is a brilliant work. My ex and I made rituals out of some of the routines from this book, and practiced them daily for several years in the late 80's and early 90's. These exercises actually allow people who do not match in terms of size (torso length, weight, etc) and strength to work out together very productively. When we would demonstrate routines to others, we joked that these body arrangements allowed us to serve as intelligent, sensitive, caring elliptical resistance machines for one another.
The size of the book is perfect to put on the floor and work from, but this time I may even cut the spine off and spiral bind it so it lays flat.
I gave a copy of it to my parents one year for Christmas, but they passed it on w/o embracing it.
I have missed both this book and those rituals, and I have spent some time looking for it, over the years but it never seems to show up in bookstores I browse. But I just found 2 copies used online and ordered them.
