We have a project called Messenger.Org that works with school kids and helps them in restoring the word of God within them and in their lives. We achieve this by going to schools and playing biblical movies and also ministering the Word of God. As Pastors, we have realized that school children spend most of their time watching Tv, which makes it easier for them to be influenced by the Media. This is why we have decided to also bring them the Word of God through the use of media. In the olden days we used to be taught biblical verses that stuck in our heads and grew up with them installed in us. In the modern age it is cartoon characters that are installed in the minds of our children more than biblical verses. These cartoon character inflict both a positive and negative influence because some they have hidden evil spirits behind them. These evil spirits get passed on to our children and we have received testimonies from those children that have been prayed for and have been released from all evil powers. These testimonies mention cartoon characters that come to them in dreams and give them new names and numbers as part of their new identities. When a person’s number is called they receive power. The power to destroy.
We have started working with schools that have found interest in our organization and see the need to work hand in hand with us in helping our children receive Christ at a young but delicate age.
As an NPO in order for our organization to be able to grow and do the work it aims to do we need all the help, volunteers and sponsors we can get.
We need transportation that can help us get from one school to another and even expand to schools beyond our area of Dassenhoek.
We also need laptops and projectors as this play a big role in our project with sending the message across to the kids of today who are more familiar and respond better to visuals.
Volunteers are needed to assist with managing the children and making sure that we pay attention to all of them in making sure they are all on board with us.
After watching a movie we ask them question and give them chance to say what they saw, we also involve them into a movie of the day by selecting some to play a bible story that they were watching.
School visitation: we visit different schools during the week, we also do community outreaches our target is youth.
We believe in youth talents: We have seen God on our outreach programs, that where we are able to identify many different gifts and talents. We teach them values while there still young, honest, integrity, trust, ubuntu, transparency and quality assurance,
