I have yet to finish even the first chapter and I find this book very interesting. I knew that the yaquis' had been victems of verious wars by local,states & federal governments, other indians, private citizens. But to the extent I'm rcurrently reading .makes me sick. Elimination of these people was what those they fought all for their land, minerals, but enslaved!!!! I had not one clue of this. Sad ver very sad indead. I knew Little of thier history Zi didn't realize how little. I've read some of thier history of suffferage, and a bit was told to me by my mother. l had a big shock reading just of
