Jake broke her heart by leaving her after sharing a passionate kiss.
Lady Amelia broke his by marrying his best friend.

When she returns to town a widow—pursued by an infamous rake, Jake's debauched brother, and just maybe by himself—Lady Amelia will have a mess and a half on her hands.

A sparkling romp through the ton, Lady Amelia's Mess and a Half delivers a witty Regency romance in which misunderstandings abound, reputations are put on the line, and the only thing more exciting than a scandal is true love.

Confusion, miscommunication, and too much he said, she said. Finally they get together...took forever and then BAM! more twists and turns. I like a good happy ending as much as anyone, but this was a long road with too many twists and turns that didn't really add to the story in my opinion. Read full review

Mess & a Half is no Lie-- there was so much conspiracy going on here that no way would these two have gotten together. One person yes, 2 people maybe--3 plus forget it -- all with different agendas-- ha, seemed too much like my life to be enjoyable. Read full review
