About the author (2010)

J. M. Barrie (1860?1937) had no children of his own but was the guardian of five boys for whom he created the tale of Peter Pan, first written as a play. Michael Foreman is a Kate Greenaway Award? and Smarties Book Prize?winning illustrator who has worked on a vast range of children's books. He is the author and illustrator of several books, including Cat in the Manger, Classic Fairy Tales, and Hello World.
