THE REAL STORY BEHIND THE INVASION OF IRAQ

Now an MSNBC Documentary, hosted by Rachel Maddow

Filled with news-making revelations that made it a New York Times bestseller, Hubris takes us behind the scenes at the White House, CIA, Pentagon, State Department, and Congress to show how George W. Bush came to invade Iraq - and how his administration struggled with the devastating fallout.

Hubris connects the dots between Bush's expletive-laden outbursts at Saddam Hussein, the bitter battles between the CIA and the White House, the fights within the intelligence community over Saddam's supposed weapons of mass destruction, the outing of an undercover CIA officer, and the Bush administration's misleading sales campaign for war. Written by veteran reporters Michael Isikoff and David Corn, this is an inside look at how a president took the nation to war using faulty and fraudulent intelligence. It's a dramatic page-turner and an intriguing account of conspiracy, backstabbing, bureaucratic ineptitude, journalistic malfeasance, and arrogance.

More people should read about this - its pure betrayal of the past administration that put us to the current situation . . . all I can do is to pray for their soul and I hope all the souls of those who were at "that" administration expense will be at rest . . . one day.

A real shame that during the Bush years if we were anti-war or anti-Bush we were labeled ANTI-AMERICAN. These people should be tried for treason. Instead we now have a country that is disrespectful toward our President - why aren't those people being called Anti-American.
MSNBC did a special about this book but the book is a more accurate recording of history. Many of us thought they - the W administration wanted the oil - being told that this war would pay for itself. Instead, no one wants to admit THESE KIDS DIED IN VEIN. Just like Vietnam....
If after reading this book if you do not feel ashamed of what our President did...your are simply not human. Halliburton continues to make millions FROM TAXPAYER MONEY for running this ten year war.
Read the book. Get it from the library or download it to your kindle BUT READ THE BOOK and make sure our kids know not to REPEAT THIS MISTAKE!
