Architecture Exam Review: Nonstructural topics
The Architect Registration Exam (ARE) is part of the licensing requirements for U.S. and Canadian architects. A computerized, closed-book exam, the ARE is administered year-round at a network of test centers.The topics represented on the ARE may be roughly divided into two areas: structural and nonstructural. The fifth edition was updated to reflect changes in the exam -- the adoption of a computerized format and use of the 2000 versions of the International Building Code and the International Plumbing Code.
