About the author (2012)

Anthony Adolph is a professional genealogist, writer and broadcaster, and has been tracing family histories for twenty years.

He was Research Director of the supporting company of the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies and now has his own genealogy practice. He has written numerous articles for the genealogy press and has appeared frequently on Channel 4's Extraordinary Ancestors, Living TV's Antiques Ghostshow and the Discovery Channel's Ancestor Hunters.
