when we talk about lynchings, we're talking about the lynchings of black slaves. And in my book, this here is one great book that everyone should read.

I read this book in 1970 .i was seventeen. It left a lasting impression on me it open my eyes to what was happing in the south. It hurt to read this book. This book showed a raw unapologetic account of the atmosphere of that era .
