As a young boy, I read and re-read this book many times. My imagination vividly envisioned life in the adventurous world of Will and Captain Kate. 25 years since I last read it, I still remember details from this book. It's one of those books that nobody else has heard of, but was a favorite of my childhood that I held onto long after I was too old for it, and I still wish it hadn't been donated by my parents when I moved out to go to college because I would probably read it again as an adult to see if it still held the same magic for me.
