AFTER READING FOR MYSELF, I ESPECIALLY ENJOY READING THIS BOOK TO MY GRANDCHILDREN. ITS COMPOSITION IS BOTH MEANINGFUL AND CHALLENGING FOR ME AND THEM [AGE 8 THRU 14]. IT TAKES PLACE IN THE 1800'S, BUT THE MORAL VALUE HAS A STRONG MESSAGE FOR TODAY. Read full review

One of the nice messages embedded in this fairytale is that Princesses have responsibilities, and it requires a sense of honor to carry them out. The magic is the classic good versus evil sort. Read full review
