This is the original edition and as such doesn't take into account more recent research about saturated fat in particular. All of the info is available on the web somewhere - I didn't find the book added much of anything, but as with all diet books, it was easy to find used. Read full review

About the author (2002)

LOREN CORDAIN, Ph.D., is one of the world’s most renowned scientists doing groundbreaking research into the original human diet. Generally acknowledged as the world’s leading expert on the Paleolithic diet, he is a professor in the Health and Exercise Science Department at Colorado State University and is a member of the American Institute of Nutrition, the American Society for Clinical Nutrition, and the American Heart Association, among other organizations. His work has been featured on Dateline NBC and the front page of the Wall Street Journal. He regularly lectures and travels around North America and the world.
