Review: Concerning the Eccentricities Of Cardinal Pirelli

User Review  - Goodreads

I enjoyed the bold homosexuality in this short novel, refreshingly open for its time about the closet - and more outward - gay tendencies inside the Roman Catholic Church and its priesthood, something to be celebrated. Read full review

Review: Concerning the Eccentricities Of Cardinal Pirelli

User Review  - Lucy - Goodreads

A thoroughly nasty little book. I don't so much mind the smut but this is dirty old man territory. The blurb on the back of my Penguin edition has a Guardian review calling it 'comically improper': improper is too dignified, and comic is plain wrong. Avoid this book. Read full review
