Fashion Kitty was not always a 'super-sonic fashion guru'. In fact, it only happened not too long ago, when Kiki Kitty had her birthday. It was a major catastrophe, with falling birthday cakes to banging heads. When Kiki got up,(from being knocked on the ground with books)she was not the same kitty. She was... Fashion Kitty! Charise Mericle Harper has created many books for children, including Fashion Kitty, Fashion Kitty versus the Fashion Queen, Fashion Kitty and the Unlikely Hero, and Cupcake. Her picture book The Best Birthday Ever by Me! (Lana Kittie) landed in bookstores this January 2011. Charise lives with her family in Westchester, New York.
