He was then preaching the Lent-dif-courfes at Paris in the church of St. Paul. This jefuit wrote feveral books on controverfial fubjefts, fermons, and a letter declaratory of the doctrine of the jefuits, conformable to the doctrine of the council of Trent: this gave occafion to the " Anti Cotton, ' 1610, 8vo. and is found at the end of the hiftoryofD.
