About the author (2020)

Tara Brach, Ph.D, is an internationally known teacher of mindfulness, meditation, emotional healing, and spiritual awakening. She is the author of Radical Acceptance and True Refuge, and her weekly podcasted talk and meditation is downloaded by over a million and a half people each month. Tara is the senior teacher and founder of Insight Meditation Center of Washington, DC. She lives in Great Falls, VA with her husband and dog.
