My favorite characters were Elinor and Marianne. Elinor is a very composed young women, but shows compassion as well. This shows in her love for Edward and her comfort expressed towards her sister. Marianne is spontaneous and romantic, always trying to find new love. They are the sense and sensibility expressed in the title. Elinor, the “Sense”, shows reason, restraint, and social responsibility. She also keeps a clear head for the concern of the welfare of others. Marianne, the “Sensibility”, shows emotion, spontaneity, and impulsiveness. She is full of devotion and it shows when she fights for Willoughby. They’re very different and it shows in the attitudes toward their beloved men and the way the express that love. This book was, overall, a great book . It was romantic and heart wrenching too. The hurt the women went through to fight for the men they loved was beautifully described. The characters were well written. I would recommend this book for people to read and I would read it again as well!

Love it.
I am a huge Jane Austin fan. One of the first women to ever write. I know a lot of people don't like her but her heroines and characters are amazingly written. Her female characters are complex and the male leads are men you would want to offer for you.

Typos
The book is really good... granted there were a few typos in the text. But what would expect with a free book? Very good story. Glad I read it.

My wife appreciates and enjoys reading Austen much more than I do, but then again she is an avid reader! I always do enjoy the way I feel like a child again when I read her work remember a time that will never come again, but hope for something even greater in the future.

Although this along with a few other books by Jane Austen has been made into movies, I still love to read them.
