About the author (2004)

John Swanson is the executive producer of the Eric and Kathy show on WTMX-Chicago. Under his tutelage, the Eric and Kathy show has been a ratings juggernaut, attaining top-five status in the highly competitive morning drive time slot for the past four years. He has been the only producer for the entire run of this very successful show. In 2001, Swanson was nominated as the national producer of the year. Before coming to WTMX, Swanson served as the executive producer of the highly acclaimed Kevin Matthews show on WLUP-Chicago and the Steve Cochran show on WPNT-Chicago. He got his producing start as the technical producer of the top-rated Jonathon Brandmeier show on WLUP-Chicago. Swanson lives in suburban Chicago with his wife Cheryl and their two children Jonathon and Ava.
