About the author (2004)

Osmar de Almeida-Santos is a physician, translator, and teacher born in Sāo Paulo, Brazil. He has published five nonfiction titles, including a book on English/Portuguese medical vocabulary, and he has appeared in several Portuguese-related periodicals. Currently he lives in England.
