About the author (2007)

Cherry spent her youth on the tiny British island of Guernsey. She is a school chess champion and winner of the Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award. she went to Cambridge University for her honors degree in English and Education, after which she taught at an exclusive boarding school in Dorset. She has lived in Germany and now the U.S.
