Ann Eliza Young witnessed the goodness of the LDS church in the beginning and the corruption that crept in with polygamy and masonry. She gives a truthful narrative of events that she witnessed or heard about. Not one woman was happy in polygamy as confirmed by Apostle Grant and Prophet Young's church sermons as contained in the Journal of Discourses. Dissidents and apostates would get killed by "Indians"; the scapegoats for the "Danite Warriors" who killed on command of Brigham Young. The Mountain Meadow Massacre is also talked about. This is a must read if you want to know why the LDS church is now under condemnation for full doctrines as stated by God in LDS scriptures "ye, by your own works, bring cursings, wrath,...by your follies and by all your abominations which you practise before me, saith the Lord" (D&C 124: 47-48).
