About the author (2009)

Stephen Brooks teaches in the areas of Canadian politics, public administration, and American politics, and his research interests include the political influence of intellectuals, political thought in Canada and the United States, and foreign perceptions of American politics and public policy. He has been a visiting professor at many institutions, including the University of Michigan, and, most recently, he spent seven months teaching Canadian politics in Paris, France.
