About the author (2005)

Dr. Larson is the Executive Director of Straight Ahead Ministries, which he co-founded with his wife. They live in a discipleship home with up to seven boys released from juvenile institutions. Dr. Larson has written numerous articles and three previous books, one for youth workers, one for social workers, and one for teens. Scott and his wife have 2 children and live in Westborough, Massachuttes.

Chris Mitchell is the founding pastor of New England Chapel, an innovative emergent church reaching postmoderns in Franklin, Massachusetts, "for people who've given up on church." Chris is a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Calvin Seminary. He and his wife, Cindi, are the parents of three children, Kaylee, Jessica and Mickey. Hometown: Franklin, Massachusetts.
