About the author (1989)

Charles Bawden is Emeritus Professor of Mongolian at the University of London. He is the author of "The Mongolian-English Dictionary" and editor and translator of "An Anthology of Mongolian Traditional Literature," both published by Kegan Paul and available through Columbia University Press.
