About the author (2010)

M.D. Moran has a keen interest in history, environmental education, earth science and world cultures. He has been drawn to many areas of natural history and has been an avid follower of space exploration for a number of years. After graduating from college with a B.S. degree in Anthropology/Geography and attending graduate school, he briefly taught astronomy at a college prep high school. As an author he has published a collection of short supernatural mystery stories, a nature education book for adults and children and is also the author of other short stories for adults along with several children's stories. He is also interested in photojournalism, music production and filmaking. The author curently lives in the Los Angeles area of southern California.
