Page 4 - directed by an oracle, the scattered fragments of the Tribe collected and built a large town, on Cape Palmas, called Bwine, or Bw1mle' (J. PAYNE, Dictionary of the Grebo Language, New York, 1860, p. 4). The resemblance between 'Bwi-ne' and 'Bourich' suggests that Thevet's information was correct.
