My son absolutely loved this book when he was young. His copy is very well worn so I bought a new copy for my 3 grandboys and they also love it. The illustrations are incredible and it is a fun story. Read full review

About the author (1996)

Maurice Sendak received the Caldecott Medal for Where the Wild Things Are. He has also received the Hans Christian Andersen Medal, the Laura Ingalls Wilder Award, the National Medal of Arts, and the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award.
